About
Hello there! My name is Young Shung and welcome to my website. I'm a self-taught developer and a computer science student at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) majoring in Intelligent Computing. Over the years, I've delved into various tech areas such as full stack, web extension and Android development to name a few. I'm also passionate about video editing, filmmaking, visual effects, photography, and mathematics.
I have also served as the Head of Technical Division for my university's computer science society, where I spearheaded the development of the society's website and other technical projects and events. You may find more information about my projects and work experience below along with other things.
I have developed an extensive range of projects using various technologies such as Svelte, React, Node.js, Astro, Firebase and more.
Front-end and back-end development are both equally enjoyable for me, and I'm always looking to learn new things.
I have both written and designed a wide variety software using C++, Java/Kotlin, Python and more.
Furthermore, I have experience in machine learning and data science. I also uses Linux and have a good understanding of the command line.
I have been interested and involved in tutoring students primarily in programming for my university.
It enables me to share my passion for coding, assist them in excelling in their coursework and cultivate a solid foundation intheir coding skills.

SAPS is a government website that allows students in primary and secondary school to check their results. I created an Android Compose app that scrapes the website and displays the results in a more user-friendly way.
